An extraordinary real-life story of a young man and his strange journey from slick city street life, to the times and life of the greatest man who ever lived. Bobby is a young man disillusioned with his mother’s live-in boyfriend, while being caught up in a world of trouble because he owes a debt to a local drug dealer. Like many families, Bobby’s family is in turmoil -troubled by a man who is afraid to accept the responsibility of marriage and bya mother whose codependency leads her to accept her man’s abusive attitude towards her children. When his brother is shot with a bullet intended for him,Bobby’s life hits rock bottom, or so it seems. In the midst of his depression and a threat to his life, he is knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself back in the times of Jesus. It’s here that he is visited by a hip angel, who takes him on a journey that will forever change his life. Critics have acclaimed Perilous Times  as “one of the most moving experiences in theater.” A gripping, soul-searching, powerhouse musical, this story tells of the ills of society and gives a panoramic view of the story of Christ.
