In 2015-2016, the Michigan Philharmonic – or ‘Michigan Phil’ – celebrates its 70th successful year of bringing live professional symphonic music to concertgoers across the region. Growing from its Plymouth Symphony Orchestra roots in 1945, the Michigan Philharmonic enters its 70th season renowned as one of the most innovative and dynamic professional symphony orchestras in Southeast Michigan
